Osmania General Hospital doctors perform rare transplant Operation

Hyderabad : Doctors at the State-owned Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad performed have earned a good reputation after performing rare liver and kidney transplant surgeries. Recently, they transplanted kidneys to five patients and livers to several others. The doctors are performing these surgeries for free. Despite lack of sophisticated equipment, OGH doctors are performing these surgeries, on par with Corporate hospitals.
Recently they transplanted the liver for an M.Tech student, Divyasree, for free through Aryogasri scheme. Normally this surgery would cost at least Rs. 50 lakh
