TS-iPASS reaps good results: KTR

Hyderabad: Telangana State has made a record by ensuring that the companies, permitted under TS-iPASS, started commercial operations, said Minister for Industries K T Rama Rao.


Intervening in the general discussion on budget, KTR said half of total 3,450 companies, which got permissions under the TS-iPASS, had commenced operations. He said the employment figures provided by the government included jobs provided in SME sector along with those provided through TS-iPASS.


He said that the Micromax Company, which failed to get permission in Uttarakhand, during the Congress regime, shifted operations to Telangana State and had been given permission in just 15 days. Its manufacturing unit had commenced operations.He regretted that the Opposition was criticising the government without ascertaining the facts.
