Hyderabad: In an unfortunate turn of events, Telangana Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy lost his cool and manhandled a local party worker of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi party yesterday evening during a meeting.

Reddy attended a meeting of the party workers in Begum Bazar area for launching the party membership drive.

After the HM spoke, Nanda Kishore Vyas, who joined the party after Telangana was formed, was invited to speak. A senior member, RA Mahender Kumar objected it and questioned how a new member is given importance, depriving seniors an opportunity.

Even as some leaders on the stage, including TRS city unit president M Hanumantha Rao, were trying to pacify him, Narasimha Reddy became angry and got up from his seat. He walked to Mahender, reportedly saying, "I know about your collections (of bribes). I will expose you." The Home Minister then manhandled the worker who then left the spot along with this supporters in anger.
