Two Army jawans suffered injuries after safety rods of Bible house rail bridge collapsed at Bansilalpet on the Army truck in which they were travelling here on Tuesday 9:30am morning time. The incident occurred when the loaded truck, which was passing under the bridge from Bata road towards Bansilalpet, rammed the metal structure set up to ensure safety.
Passersby rushed to their rescue and informed the Mahankali police, who rushed the injured persons to hospital. Their condition was stated to be out of danger.
