Bollywood film producer surrenders before Hyd police in rape case

Sat, Sep 23 : Bollywood film producer Karim Morani has surrendered before Hayat Nagar police on Friday night in a rape case. A woman from Mumbai lodged a complaint at Hayat Nagar police station.
In her complaint, the rape victim said that Bollywood producer Karim Morani had raped her on January 10 at a hotel on the pretext of giving an opportunity in movies. Morani’s bail petition was rejected by a trial court. Subsequently, he moved bail petition in the High Court. Even, the High Court also rejected his bail plea. After hearing his case, the Supreme Court directed Morani to surrender before Telangana police. The police will produce Morani in a trial court and will be send to remand.
