KRMB allocates 16 tmcft to AP state, 9 tmcft to Telangana state

Sat, Sep 23 : The Krishna River Management Board has allotted 16 tmcft water to Andhra Pradesh and 6 tmcft to Telangana. KRMB member-secretary Sameer Chatterjee said a three-member committee meeting was held in a friendly and cooperative way.
He said that the Board has taken a decision to allocate water for drinking water needs of both AP and Telangana. Sameer stated that next meeting will be held on October 15 in which releasing of water for agricultural activity will be discussed based on the availability of water.
